An Introduction to Building

This class will cover MUCK building from beginner through advanced. Students will learn how to create rooms, zombies, and vehicles; how to get the most from environment rooms; how to use movie.muf, noises.muf, and other programs to create special effects and atmosphere; and how to avoid common building mistakes. No prior experience is required. We will meet the next three Sundays and the course will culminate with a final exam and project. Students who successfully complete the course will receive a certificate of building competence and will be ready to move on to Prof. Farstrike’s MPI class (dates TBA).
