Chapter 2, In Which Our Heroes…

If you will recall, several insightful people turned the embarrassment of my technical drawings into an opportunity and made contact with an alien world. A man of learning was to come from their world and parlay with us, and perhaps give us the opportunity to park near their home for a bit so as to get to know eachother.

Alas, the forthcoming ambassador was not been nearly as forthcoming as we had first hoped, having been caught up in affairs of his own world. However, he has assured me that he will arrive next week. Please join me in welcoming him.
